1. Chenub lake
The Chenab Lake is situated near Dang village of the pilgrim town and the last village of Joshimath. You will have to trek across this village to reach Chenab Lake. It is a crystalline lake, and like most lakes here at Auli, this one too is breathtakingly beautiful. The Chenab valley trek is one of the lesser known trekking trails of the Gharwali Himalayas. The path although unbuilt finds trek lovers from around the world exploring it. The lake is surrounded by lush greenery. Oak and Deodar encircling this pristine water body of chilly and crystal clear waters.

3. Auli artificial lake
Auli Lake is considered as highest man-made lake in the world. The government of Uttarakhand has developed this in view of creating artificial snow on the new ski slopes in the event of low snowfall. The water from the lake gets used in artificial snowmaking system to feed the snow guns stationed along the ski slopes and thus provide a good skiing surface and extend the ski season. Auli hosted the 1st South Asian Winter Games in 2011 along with Dehradun.
